One day there was a boy and a girl named Tom and Elizabeth.
Tom told Elizabeth I know about a mine of gold.
"Oh where", said Elizabeth.
"Come", said Tom, "I will show you where."
They went to a newspaper salesman.
"Get free your free newspaper here," said an African person.
Tom grabbed a newspaper about a gold mine.
"Look, there it is", said Elizabeth.
"Yes", said Tom.
"It says it is in Africa on the West side of Africa". remarked Tom.
"Let's go to get a map," exclaimed Elizabeth excitedly.
Tom ran to go get a map of the World.
"Look", uttered Elizabeth,"that's where the gold mine is."
"Great", exclaimed Tom,"let's go get on a plane".
On Plane"Did you forget to bring the popcorn?" asked Elizabeth.
Tom replied, "Yes".
"Oh no!", yelled Elizabeth and Tom together.
A German fighter plane was firing at them.
Elizabeth and Tom jumped off.
Luckily a person saw them falling and called the firemen, who came as quickly as they could.
They put a trampoline on the ground and Tom and Elizabeth fell safely on it.
"We have to go on an army plane to get there. It's dangerous otherwise."
They flew on an American army plane. They didn't see any other planes for now.
Suddenly the pilot spotted an enemy plane. He steered the American plane up and fired against the German plane.
Success.
Unfortunately another plane flew over them and shot their engine. They had to parachute out and the pilot too.
When they landed the pilot spoke to a person on the ground.
The pilot asked him if he knew about a gold mine.
The person said no and shot the pilot hoping to find the map.
But Tom and Elizabeth had the map so the robber chased them.
Tom and Elizabeth hid in a bush.
Elizabeth whispered to Tom, "I thought bushes were the likely hiding places where he'll look."
Tom whispered back, "No trees are."
The robber went past but didn't find them
Tom suggested that they should go in a carriage. "OK", said Elizabeth.
When they went on the carriage robbers attacked them.
In the carriage there were books and rotten vegetables.
Elizabeth hurled the rotten vegetables at the robbers.
Tom threw the books at them. The other robbers were scaring the horses.
Then the robber chieftain showed up and said, "give me he map or you will regret it!"
"No", said Elizabeth and Tom. They threw books and vegetables at him and a mouse was on him.
The robber didn't notice the mouse.
The robber screamed and ran away as fast as he could!
"Mouse!", he shouted.
Tom and Elizabeth laughed.
Then Tom and Elizabeth walked towards an old cottage.
It was made out of rocks and the roof was made out of mud and straw put together to stick.
"Let's go in", said Elizabeth.
Elizabeth and Tom didn't know that there was an old poor man inside the cottage hiding under a table.
He liked to scare anybody that came in with his monster-jack-in-the-box.
Tom looked at the map and do did Elizabeth.
"We are close to the gold mine", remarked Elizabeth.
Elizabeth and Tom both went in the cottage and saw the jack-in-the-box.
Tom said, "Wait a minute that's not what most jack-in-the-boxes look like. Hmmm..I wonder what's under this table."
Tom and Elizabeth lifted up the table and both gasped, "Oh, there is an old man here who is trying to scare everybody."
Tom and Elizabeth noticed that under the table, the man had all the money the people had dropped when they got scared.
"You should go to jail", said Tom. "You mean prison", said Elizabeth.
"Yeah right", said Tom.
Then old man screamed "Ahhh, I do not want to go in jail."
"Quick, let's run and get the police!" said Tom.
Soon the police arrived at the cottage with Tom.
Then the police lassoed the old man and said, "you have to go in jail."
The old man cried, "Noooo."
The police brought the old man to jail.
He cried "Help!", but no one came.
"We are there finally. Yes!", they both shouted
"Look", said Elizabeth, "There's the gold mine."
"Oh no!", cried Tom. "There is a pirate trying to get the gold."
"But wait, who is that? He looks like the newspaper seller that sold us the newspaper."
The pirate shot at the newspaper seller, but the newsstand protected him and he ran up on the mine.
Tom whispered in Elizabeth's ear, "Elizabeth...you go on the back of the mine and I'll go on the front."
"OK", whispered Elizabeth and off they went.
The pirate shot his gun on the mine. It bounced off on the grass. It lit a fire.
Elizabeth pushed the pirate down on the fire. "Noooooooooo!", said the pirate as he fell.
Tom looked inside the gold mine. There was lots of gold. The man who sold newspaper was safe.
Tom and Elizabeth took lots of gold and became rich. They bought lots of things. With their money they made a gigantic store.
They sold lots of things.
