Ive been reading lots of math books lately and making things with geometry. Its fun to play with numbers. I learned about pi on Kahn academy and how you use it to measure around a circle.
My dad challenged me to figure out how much is inside a circle so we drew one that had a diameter 2 inches then we drew lots of squares inside the circle and measured them. All our circles made 3.111 which was close to pi. My dad showed me how if you make a square with one of the radius sides and times it by pi it gives you the answer.
I made a icosahedron out of cardboard too which I think is beautiful.
