Bar

Bar

we made Bar. it is a tasty treat . We were inspired from the Lara bar. It is healthy . The bar we made is healthy . It has no added sugar. here is the recipe:

Ingredients
1/2 - 1 cup of Unsweetened coconut ( more if you want more bar )
3 - 4 cups of Almonds  ( more if you want more bar )
2 - 3 cups of dates  ( more if you want more sweetness )
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of Coconut oil
2 tablespoons of Unsweetened Cocoa powder.

Some of the ingredients

Tools
A Blender that can blend nuts ( preferably a Blendtec )
3 bowls .
a spoon
Measuring cups and spoons

Take the almonds and put them in the Blender. Put the lid on . Then if you have pulse ( its on a Blendtec ) tap it for 8-14 seconds or till almonds are blended. If you don't have Pulse then blend . Put the blended almonds in a bowl. Then Blend the Coconut. Put it in a bowl. Then take your dates . If you have pitted dates then cut them up into half and then put them in the blender. But if your dates have pits then you have to rip then up and put the pits in the Garbage. Then you have to cut then into halfs. Cut and rip before you put the dates in the blender . Then Pulse them in the blender. After that take the blended dates out with a spoon. Then put the dates , almonds and coconut in the third bowl. Add Vanilla extract and then Melt the coconut oil for about  15  seconds. Put it in the bowl. then mix with a spoon . ( if you don't have a Blendtec this may not work. So you can just sprinkle it with the Cocoa powder and put it in the fridge  )  Put it all in the Blender and  Pulse for 7-12 seconds. then take it all with a spoon and put it in a bowl. Sprinkle the Cocoa powder and Put it in the fridge for an hour to make it stick. the more Dates, Vanilla extract and Coconut oil you add the more it sticks. This bar is delicious with fruit.
